Welcome to GuildFinder! GuildFinder is a web application designed to help you discover and connect with gaming guilds across various games. As a companion platform to GuildManager, GuildFinder focuses on guild exposure and recruitment. By using GuildFinder, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") that govern your use of our service. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GuildFinder, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, whether or not you have created an account. If you do not agree to any of these Terms, do not use GuildFinder.

User Accounts

• Discord Login: To use GuildFinder, you must sign in using your Discord account. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your Discord credentials.
• Account Security: Immediately notify us if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain your account security.

Guild Listings and Data Responsibility

• Guild Listings: Guild owners are solely responsible for managing their guild's listing, including recruitment status, requirements, and guild descriptions.
• Data Accuracy: Guild owners are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information about their guilds' recruitment needs and requirements.
• Content Guidelines: All content posted in guild listings must comply with our content guidelines and not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
• Best Practices: We strongly recommend:
  • Regularly updating recruitment status
  • Maintaining accurate requirements
  • Keeping contact information current
  • Responding to recruitment inquiries promptly
• Liability: GuildFinder is not liable for any recruitment disputes, miscommunications, or misrepresentations made in guild listings.

Permissions Management and Data Responsibility

• Permission Management: Guild owners and administrators are solely responsible for managing member permissions within their guilds. This includes carefully assigning, monitoring, and revoking access rights to guild features and data.
• Data Modifications: Any changes made to guild data (including but not limited to DKP adjustments, member management, item assignments, and activity records) by users with appropriate permissions are considered authorized actions.
• No Data Recovery: GuildFinder does not maintain backups for individual guild actions and cannot restore data modified or deleted by users with valid permissions, even if such actions were made with malicious intent.
• Security Best Practices: We strongly recommend:
  • Regularly reviewing member permissions
  • Immediately revoking access for departing members
  • Limiting administrative access to trusted individuals
  • Maintaining your own records of important guild data
• Liability: GuildFinder is not liable for any loss, damage, or disruption caused by authorized users misusing their permissions or by guild administrators failing to properly manage access rights.

Subscriptions and Payments

• Plans and Payments: GuildFinder offers different subscription plans with premium features. Payment is processed exclusively through LemonSqueezy.
• Unlocking Features: Premium features will become available after successful LemonSqueezy payment.
• Changes to Plans: GuildFinder reserves the right to modify, update, or remove subscription plans or features. Notice of significant changes will be provided via email or through the app.
• Cancellations and Refunds:You can cancel your subscription at any time through LemonSqueezy or within the app. Refunds are available according to our refund policy.

Refund Policy

• Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the billing period
  • You will retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period
• Refund Eligibility:
  • Within 48 hours of purchase: Full refund if no premium features were used
  • Accidental Purchases: Must be reported within 24 hours of purchase
• Non-Refundable Circumstances:
  • After premium features have been actively used
  • Cancellations after the first 48 hours
  • Account terminations due to Terms of Service violations
  • Claims made after the billing period has ended
• Refund Process: To request a refund:
  • Contact us through our Discord support channel
  • Provide your account details and reason for refund
  • Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy to the original payment method
  • Processing time may take 5-10 business days
• Service Termination by GuildFinder: If we terminate your service due to violations of our Terms:
  • No refund will be issued for the current billing period
  • Future scheduled payments will be cancelled
  • Access to premium features will be immediately revoked

Usage Guidelines

To ensure a safe and productive environment, please follow these rules while using GuildFinder:

• Acceptable Use:You agree to use GuildFinder only for legitimate guild discovery and recruitment purposes.
• Prohibited Behaviors: Do not engage in activities that include, but are not limited to:
  • Creating fake or misleading guild listings
  • Harassment or discrimination in recruitment
  • Spamming or unauthorized automated access
  • Attempting to manipulate listing visibility or rankings
  • Using the platform for non-recruitment purposes

Modifications to the Service

GuildFinder is constantly evolving to better serve the gaming community. We may change, add, or remove features at any time. We will provide notice for significant changes that might impact your use of the service through our Discord server or email notifications.

Limitation of Liability

• GuildFinder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We are not responsible for:
  • The behavior of guild members or administrators
  • The accuracy of guild information
  • Disputes between users or guilds
  • Loss of guild data due to user error

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of GuildFinder shall be resolved exclusively by the courts located in Araucanía Region, Chile.

Data Ownership and Privacy

• Listing Content: While guild owners retain ownership of their listing content, you grant GuildFinder a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, store, and display your content for the purpose of providing and improving our recruitment services.
• Listing Information: Public guild listings may be indexed and displayed in search results. Guild owners can control their listing's visibility settings.
• Data Retention: We may retain listing data for a reasonable period after account closure for backup, archival, or audit purposes.
• Integration Data: When using integrations with GuildManager or other services (like Discord), we only store necessary data to provide the recruitment functionality.

Service Features and Limitations

• Guild Discovery: While we strive to provide accurate guild discovery features, we cannot guarantee:
  • The accuracy of guild listings provided by users
  • The current recruitment status of listed guilds
  • Response times from guild recruiters
  • The success of guild applications
• GuildManager Integration:
  • Some features require an active GuildManager account
  • Guild management tools are provided through GuildManager
  • Data synchronization between platforms is subject to GuildManager's terms
• Search and Filters:
  • Search results are based on available listing information
  • Filter accuracy depends on guild-provided recruitment data
  • Search rankings may be adjusted to prevent manipulation

Premium Features

• Enhanced Guild Listings: Premium features may include:
  • Featured placement in search results
  • Enhanced guild listing customization
  • Advanced recruitment tools
  • Recruitment analytics and insights
• Feature Availability: Premium features are subject to change and may be modified or removed at our discretion with appropriate notice.

Service Availability and Support

• Platform Availability: While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance through our Discord server.
• Technical Support:
  • Support for listing and recruitment issues is provided through our Discord server
  • Guild management support is handled through GuildManager's support channels
  • Response times are not guaranteed
  • Premium subscribers may receive priority support for recruitment features

Intellectual Property Rights

• GuildFinder Property: All rights, title, and interest in GuildFinder, including software, features, and documentation, remain exclusively with us.
• Feedback: Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used without any obligation to compensate you.
• Trademark Usage: The GuildFinder name, logo, and any related marks are our trademarks and may not be used without prior written permission.

Rate Limits and Fair Usage

• API Usage: We implement rate limiting to ensure fair usage of our services. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary service restrictions.
• Resource Limits:
  • Excessive resource usage may be throttled
  • Automated access must be pre-approved
• Account Restrictions: We reserve the right to limit or suspend accounts that negatively impact service performance for other users.

Third-Party Integrations

• Discord Integration: Our service relies on Discord for authentication and certain features. Changes to Discord's services may affect GuildFinder functionality.
• Payment Processing: Payment processing is handled by LemonSqueezy. Your payment information is subject to their privacy policy and terms.
• Third-Party Liability: We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services integrated with GuildFinder.
